Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist tries to express every moment and his feelings of the day. The stonework “We Two Guys” displays the intimate interaction between two lovers, and due to harmonious co-existence, the two intact individuals have become a new whole. The work simplifies the structure of the antagonistic relationship between the mass and the material to make the nature of art reinforce the expression of its motif by way of the simplified image. The two souls who are dependent and caressing in the stonework seem to stand more strongly side by side. In the stonework, we can feel the space, material, mass and geometric tension, and by way of the artist’s recreation, it generates abundantly multi-faceted nature and quality feeling.
