Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist is good at using rounded lines of eclipse holes and the curves of slightly bulged and subsidence to infuse surface tension into the marble; such tension is so light and fluffy that it is as cordial as bubbles. Therefore, the delicate texture of white marble can contain the molding capability between solid and liquid. In this stonework “Waterfall”, it shows directly that viewers can stare and overlook at the representation of the water drops sprinkling over the wall of rock edge, and the frame seems to stop at the pierced image, while the falling-down column of water reflects the actual and void interaction between the rock and the water-knife, and such mimicry of liberty can make our imagination more abundant.
