Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The Artist Chien-Jen Yeh sings the praise to human’s freedom and life value, to show the greatness of creative soul. This piece is composed by two parts, the upper is a square space surrounded by several elbows, and the down part is a forty five degree twisted rectangle represents time. The whole piece symbolizes humans are eager for freedom spirit and they will struggle out of the limited time and space even they know they are unable to resist it. That is why human choose their individual thought, religion, culture and art to overcome the limited rule of time and space. It is the greatest spirit of art.
