Hualien Stone Sculpture Museum

The artist’s creation is inspired by her own ultimate praise for the beautiful scenery of Hualien seashore. She loves the sea especially, and considers it “symbolizes the origin of life”. In the stonework, she capitalizes on the modeling of ancient fossils to symbolize the imagery of creating the connection between the present and the past, while “dancing” means a kind of progressive rhythm which leads viewers to contemplate the ongoing process of evolution in all creatures. And what kind of influences had the human brought to the natural environment? Had we on earth moved forward, or held back? Anyway, the origin of life tells us, “Never forget the initial starting point in chaos, and we should remain the pure and modest heart so as to keep life sustainably and continuously growing.”
